My name is Lauren and I'm a junior government major at UT. This is my first ever website, and I'm so excited to share it with you! Here, you'll find some fun facts about me and a few of my favorite places to visit on the internet. You will also be able to discover study tips and tricks that I've learned over the years. Below, you'll find my course schedule for this semester. Since I'm taking a full-time courseload, time management and prioritization is important. That's why I've had to tweak my study methods, which I'll talk about a bit down below!

Websites I Like

Here are some of my favorite websites to use when it comes to studying or reviewing materials for class.

1) Knowt Try it here!

Knowt is my number one study tool when it comes to memorization and vocabulary. On this site, you can easily upload and create your own notes and flashcards, which are perfect for reinforcing what you've learned. Knowt offers a range of helpful features, including quiz generation and multiple study modes to suit different learning styles. This is one of my favorite sites to use!

2) Google Gemini Try it here!

As AI becomes more prevalent, it is important to understand how and when to use it, and studying is a great place to start! My preferred AI tool is Google Gemini, as I've found it consistently provides the most accurate information. One of its biggest advantages is its integration with other Google services, such as Gmail, Docs, Drive, all of which I use on a daily basis. I can easily upload my notes from class and ask Gemini to generate quiz questions from them, giving me a ready-made quiz to help me review.

3) StudyWithMe.io Try it here!

A large part of successful studying is recognizing when to take breaks, so your brain has time to rest and absorb information. I use StudyWithMe.io, not only to track my study sessions and stay focused, but also to remind myself to take regular breaks. It helps me maintain a healthy balance between productivity and rest, which makes my study time more efficient and less overwhelming.

Post-Study Relaxation

As we all know, studying can be overwhelming and time consuming. That's why it's important to take time for yourself, and do something you enjoy to unwind. For me, that means watching YouTube videos! It's a great way to relax and recharge. I've linked some of my favorites below!

I like this particular YouTuber because of her calm yet fun demeanor. I also think it’s interesting to see what other country’s soldiers eat!

I always find food videos satisfying, and this creator adds a unique twist by cooking everything outdoors. It’s a fun and refreshing take on the usual cooking content.

Hockey is my favorite sport to watch, so I enjoy doing these kinds of video quizzes to test what I know and pick up new facts in a fun, low-pressure way!

When I really want to unwind, I like to watch car detailing videos like this one. There's something incredibly satisfying about the cleaning process. It helps me relax completely.
